ekke’s debut album “Chasm” out now on Detroit Underground. “Chasm” is full of glitchy insect like micro beats, bass drum, dark drones and nostalgic analogue synth sounds. I took extra attention on textures and sound design- most of the sounds are from modular synth, where no preexisting preset exist. There are also many found objects like lemonade bottles, children’s spinner, music box and other surprises. I’m not concentrating on telling any story, but rather enjoy these sounds as they are.
